(Distal arthogryposis type IIA or 3, camptodactyly-clubfoot-cleft syndrome) Polymalformative syndrome. Autosomal dominant, autosomal or X-linked transmission with incomplete penetrance (lowest in women than in men) and a variable clinical expression combining clino- or camptodactyly, equinovarus clubfoot, and cleft palate (25%). More rarely: short stature, vertebral anomalies (scoliosis), omphalocele, pigmented nevi, antimongoloid palpebral fissures, deafness.
Anesthetic implications:
risk of difficult intubation.
