Very rare. Unknown cause and mode of transmission. Association of an ectrodactyly of the hand and ipsilateral bifurcation of the femur. Sometimes associated with aplasia or hypoplasia of the tibia, a pre-axial oligodactyly or a monodactyly of the feet. In 80% cases, there is a lack of metacarpophalangeal bones, occasionally associated with an ulnar anomaly.


Anesthetic implications: 

difficult peripheral venous access. Nerve blocks under ultrasound guidance.
