Autosomal recessive transmission. Congenital ectasic dilatation of the intrahepatic bile ducts with associated hepatic

fibrosis. Cholangitis, portal hypertension. Sometimes polycystic kidney disease.

Anesthetic implications: 

check hepatic and renal functions. Portal hypertension. Rare indication of liver transplantation.
