Banti, syndrome

(Senator syndrome, Banti-Senator syndrome, idiopathic portal hypertension)

Association of splenomegaly and anemia with thrombocytopenia and leukopenia (hypersplenism) and portal hypertension with risk of GI bleeding.

Although there is initially no liver fibrosis or cirrhosis,  liver damage can be  observed in case of lengthy evolution.
