Niemann-Pick, maladie ou syndrome de 

(Déficit en sphingomyélinase)

Autosomique récessive. Sphingolipidose par déficit en sphingomyélinase acide, enzyme lysosomiale qui assure l'hydrolyse de la sphingomyéline en céramide. 

On distingue plusieurs variantes :




Implications anesthésiques

Vérifier fonction hépatique et formule sanguine (plaquettes).  Forme C: hypoplaquettose, épilepsie sévère, retard psychomoteur, fausses déglutitions,  Risque d’intubation difficile et d'aspiration. Risque d’hyper- ou d’hypothermie durant une IRM.
