The Kiel Institute of World
Economics, founded in 1914, has long since become an important international
center for economic research and documentation. The Institute's Library
is one of the largest in the world. The Libraries for economics and social
sciences and the Institute's Archives have a comprehensive collection of
newspaper cuttings spanning seven decades.
The Kiel Institute of World Economics focuses its research on international economics, co-operating closely with similar institutes abroad.
