The european research program M-Cube (MetaMaterials antenna for ultra-high field MRI) is an H2020 european project gathering partners from all around the world. Its goal is to use metamaterials to improve the quality of images obtained using ultra-high field Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques.

The role of the UCL is to provide fast simulation tools for the electromagnetic problem typically encountered in MRI experiments and to provide expertise in the use of a wire medium.
