Biography

Julien Lambert was born in Brussels, Belgium, on June 10, 1987. He got the B.S. degree in industrial science (electro-mechanic department) from ECAM, Brussels, Belgium in 2008 and the M.S. degree in industrial science (electro-mechanic department) from ECAM in 2010.

From 2010 to 2011, he was the site manager for the maintenance of Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc for Dalkia, Brussels, Belgium. During 2011 to 2015, he was the coordinator of the technical and logistical cell of the “System and Cognition” department (COSY) at the Université catholique de Louvain, Brussels, Belgium.

He is currently Ph.D. student at the Nocions lab, COSY department, Université catholique de Louvain. His research has been concerned with the investigation of the inter-dependencies between the different brain regions involved in human pain perception with a novel approach based on transcranial focused ultrasound stimulation (TFUS) and its combination with electroencephalographic recordings. Ing. Lambert is a trainee member of the International Association for the Study of Pain.
