Tania Martin

Tania Martin is PhD student in the Information Security Group since October 2008. Previously, she was completed a Master in Cryptography and Information Security at the University of "Sciences et Technologies" Bordeaux I in France.
During her Master Thesis (spent at the UCL), she discovered the RFID world, and got a particular interest in its problem of "compromised readers". Now, she is working on security analysis of RFID solutions, mainly Calypso and Mifare cards because of their widespread use in consumer market (such as public transport ticketing). In parallel, she looks into the RFID open problem "tag's privacy vs. reader's low complexity" : her research focus on efficient practical implementations of RFID lightweight protocols that can fix it.
