Aims

- Appropriation of the principles of the differential approach in psychology of the investigation of the psychological characters predominating in the behaviours of women and of men
- Acquisition of the main knowledge about the development of sexual identity

Main themes

The studies and theorisations concerning the aspects proper to the prevailing psychology in the behaviours of women and men are tackled from the differential approach. A special interest is given to the constitution and to the development of sexual identity and to the factors implied in this process, as to the various forms of its expression.

Content and teaching methods

Recall of the differential approach in psychology and of its use in the studies and modellings concerning the psychology of women and of men. Work in small groups and written work on one of the aspects of the problems related to the differential psychology of sexes.
