Aims

- analysis of concrete issues and more complex situations
- analysis of legal cases

Main themes

The course aims to analyse in depth specific issues relating to European institutional law. By way of illustration, the following themes have already been examined: the European Parliament; the relations between European, international and domestic law; sanctions against legal and natural persons in the European Communities. The themes are chosen together with the students. The method is not based on presentations by the professor, but on the analysis of concrete cases by the students.

Content and teaching methods

The course is based on presentation and cases examined by the students. Specific themes are examined, chosen together with the students from among current developments in European institutional law.
