To learn the basics of the Hebrew language of the Bible (grammar, vocabulary and Biblical Textes).
Main themes
To teach the basics of Hebrew grammar and Hebrew vocabulary that are indispensable for being able to read historical texts of the Bible. We will use the method of J. Weingreen, Hébreu biblique. Méthode élémentaire, Beauchesne, Paris, 1984.

Evaluation : written exam on a non-set Biblical text of moderate difficulty. Oral exam on set texts.
