Message of the Coordinator

As you probably have heard already, the IAP programmes will be continued in the future. This is very good news, even though the precise format is not clear yet. But it shows that the parties involved are convinced about the important role of the IAP programme in scientific collaborations across universities and regions and in the organization of scientific and educational events.

I use this opportunity to draw your attention to some upcoming activities co-organized by our DYSCO network.
The Benelux Meeting on Systems and Control (see the January Newsletter for an announcement) will be held in Soesterberg from March 22-24. If you haven't registered yet, it is still time to do so. Our next course in the Graduate School in Systems, Optimization, Control and Networks is on Compressive Sensing of Low-complexity Signals and starts next week. Finally, you will find in this newsletter the preliminary announcement for our next DYSCO study day, which is scheduled on May 19th in Louvain-la-Neuve. Please note this date in your agenda !

Paul Van Dooren
Coordinator of DYSCO
