Message from the Coordinator

First let me congratulate the ULg team for a superb Benelux Meeting in a beautiful environment and with excellent logistics. The very large number of participants (about 225) is testimony to the vitality of systems, control, networks and optimization in Belgium and Holland. I take this opportunity to congratulate Frédéric Crèvecoeur (member of the UCL team of DYSCO) for having received the Best Junior Presentation Award. I personally found the overall quality of the presentations to be of very high quality; the award received by Frédéric is therefore all the more remarkable.

The next major item on our agenda will be the next study day of the DYSCO network. It is organized by the team of Alain Vande Wouwer and will take place on 28 May at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons.
