Please contact us for any further details:
- Kathryn Hess Bellwald, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne
- Marino Gran, Université catholique de Louvain
Venue
The lectures will take place on the EPFL campus. Click here for an interactive map.
Genève-Cointrin is the nearest airport (40–60 minutes). From there, you can take a train to Lausanne, then the Lausanne M1 metro which takes you from Le Flon to the EPFL in about 12 minutes.
Lodging
Please arrange yourself your stay during the Summer School. Here are a few options we are happy to recommend.
The most convenient hotel is probably the Swiss Tech Hotel. It is located on campus, next to the metro station M1 "EPFL", a 12 minute long ride from downtown Lausanne.
If you prefer to stay in Lausanne, try the Hotel Regina.
The Jeunotel is the name for the Lausanne youth hostel and right at the Lausanne main train station is the Lausanne guesthouse.
Welcome reception
A light meal will be offered to the registered participants on Thursday afternoon.
Banquet
The conference dinner will take place on Friday evening. A contribution of 30CHF has to be paid upon registration on Thursday morning if you wish to participate (cash, no credit card accepted).
