Introduction
The minor which introduces Arabic and Islamic civilisation provides :
- a thorough grounding in the foundations of Arab-Muslim civilisation;
- direct entry to the 120 credit Master’s degree in Ancient Languages and Literatures: Oriental Studies and the 60 credit Master’s degree in Ancient Languages and Literatures: Oriental Studies for all holders of a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy, arts and letters.
- ease of access or direct entry to both the 120 credit Master’s degree and the 60 credit Master’s degree in Ancient Languages and Literatures: Oriental Studies.
- for all UCL Bachelors other than Bachelors in philosophy, arts and letters, subject to additional training components.
