Content

The course is divided into two parts:

It covers aspects of the europeanisation of the policies, politics and even of the institutional system of the member states;
- part 2 analyses the way Belgium deals with its EU membership and examines how Belgium participates in EU decision-making, with a particular emphasis on the role of its sub-national entities and the interaction between multiple levels of governance. It will also demonstrate to what extent particular findings on the Belgian case can be generalized towards the europeanisation of other EU member states.
