The topic will be defined jointly by the student and the coordinator.

Students are given the opportunity to improve their knowledge of one topic in immunology. It includes a critical view of the experimental approaches that were followed to obtain this knowledge, and of the conclusions of these experiments.

The coordinator guides the student in the choice of a topic, and designates a tutor who will help the student throughout the work. The tutor will provide help in selecting appropriate reference books or research papers. He will also, upon request by the student, help him to understand more difficult parts of this bibliography. The student will then provides a synthesis document, summarizing what he understood from his readings. The document can be a text, a poster, or a web page.
