Main themes To reach the aims, the seminar will: - address some methodological questions and selected areas where ethical analysis play a crucial role today - focus specifically on bounds between practical issues and the relevance of fundamental reflections - study with a particular interest the status of religious dimension in debates about values and norms.
Aims By the end of this seminar, the student will be able: - to make a research in the field of applied ethics - to use conceptual tools of current research in ethics - to communicate orally and by paper the results of his research.

2012-2013

The seminarwill focus on the concept of work decision: what "decide" and what dimensions of the subject is tested in this act? Rational and argumentative dimension is the only place it ethical commitment to a decision? In this context, it means a deadlock decision?

On therelationship between the act of deciding, experience and a reinterpretation of the latter, we focus on the "status of Paschal Triduum" to think "Decision" and its potential deadlocks. How the desired target, the impasse experienced and rebirth as possible included in the "passage" of the three days they can illuminate what it means to "decide"?
