Lectures, using audio-visual material. Subjects dealt with: the origins, Dante, Petrarch, Boccaccio, the Petrarchans, Tasso, Ariosto, baroque theatre and opera.

Aims
  • Basic course;
  • This course aims to introduce students to the great authors of the Middle Ages and of the baroque period and to develop their literary sensibility;
  • Introduction to the language of the Middle Ages.
