Teaching of medical and surgical head and neck pathology from dysfunctional to organic disorders. During the first year of master's degree, students will be made familiar with anatomy of larynx, pharynx, oral cavity and neck. Phonation and swallowing physiology will also be presented as well as assessment and the most frequent pathologies.

Surgical anatomy of larynx, pharynx and oral cavity. Surgical anatomy of the neck. Phonation and swallowing physiology. Assessment of larynx and pharynx functions.Videostroboscopy. Laryngeal benign lesions. Larynx of the child. Specific and unspecific chronic laryngites (hypertrophic laryngites excluded). Larynx cancer, diagnosis, assessment, epidemiology. Neurologic disorders with head and neck expressions. Medical treatments in pharyngo-laryngeal pathology. Emergencies in pharyngo-laryngeal pathology. Immuno-allergology and pharyngo-larynx. Superior esophageal sphincter dysfunction, assessment and treatment.
