The project is an opportunity for students to choose their topics and fields of interest in education, the direction that their studies may take in the future (especially for a Master's degree) and also to gain a preliminary impression of the relevant professional field.
It provides students specifically with the ability to integrate the knowledge and skills they have so far acquired, especially relating to university level : statement of a problem, critical search for information, drawing a conclusion, choice of action etc. both individually and in a group.
Main themes
The project involves an in-depth study of a practical issue linked to professional practice, chosen from a list of different issues. This is done through individual and group work, drawing on what students have learnt during the previous two years.
Content and teaching methods
Students are invited to
- choose the issue they will work on from a list of questions suggested by the research units responsible for their supervision
- find further elements of clarification and response both in the academic literature and in the social and professional world (for example by examining how similar issues are presented in practice)
- take part in the project support seminar
- present interim reports
- produce a synthetic and critical report
- present what they have done to other groups
The project starts from BAC2 with an information session ; it ends in BAC3, before Easter.
