At the end of this module, he/she will be able to enter unprepared into conversation on topics that are familiar and pertinent to everyday life (family, academic issues, current events...).The student "can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, (academic life), leisure, etc¿Can deal with most situations likely to arise (in a French-speaking country). Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans"(in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Is aware of the parameters that are involved in speaking skills, has improved pronunciation in French. Pays more attention to the structure of French sentences. Awareness, training and drills have made the student more fluent and spontaneous in speaking skills and interaction.

FRAN 1303 - French - " Parler et dire le français" - a course for intermediate level.
A course for students enrolled at the UCL (Erasmus and non Erasmus) who take FRAN 1201, FRAN 1301,
FRAN 1401 as a faculty or as an optional course as well as for free students (étudiants libres) who are not
enrolled at the UCL.

Aim
At the end of the course, students are expected to have reached a B1 level (CEF) in speaking This course is a specific course that focuses on Speaking.
Method and contents
The course is given by a native speaker. In this course, students
study the rules of pronunciation (rythm, debit, vocals and consonants, nasal sounds)
train their presentation skills and others oral skills (reading - telling and reading loud, phoning)
improve their interaction skills in French (roleplay)
